Next meeting Thurs 11th July – Buriton Village Hall and the Annual Chuck Glider Comp

The next meeting will be held on Thursday 11th July (not this week!) and, as it’s an Official meeting, it will be held at Buriton Village Hall.
Chairman Mark tells me that we’ll carry with on the discussion from the June meeting about electric powertrains, hopefully moving on from chargers and batteries to ESCs, connectors, motors, and propellers.  We can all learn from these discussions, none of us know everything about the systems we use so it should be a good meeting.
Also, prior to the meeting, the Chuck Glider Competition will be held on the field behind the village hall at Buriton. Its easy, simply build or buy your own glider (depending on how competitive you’re feeling) bring it down to the field and have a laugh with the other members.  Be there by 19.45 (or earlier for trimming flights) and the comp with start at 20.00. It will consist of 6 flights and the longest accumulative time from these 6 flights wins. It’s just bit of fun so if yours doesn’t fly very well there’s no need to worry.
