Wilson Atkinson

Obituary
Wilson Atkinson died at home on 11th August, age 86.
PAM is indebted to Wilson, since it was he who, some 40 years ago, first gave Don Eades permission for the Club to fly at the patch on Chidden Down.
A Service of Celebration is to be held at All Saints, East Meon, on Saturday October 5th 2013 at 11.30 a.m.
As a token of our appreciation for being permitted use of the patch, first by Wilson and now by his son George, could I ask for strong representation by PAM at this service.

Ron Vears
Chairman

Doreen and I will be there for sure. Wilson was always a great friend to the club.

As a former founder club member would someone please pass on my condolences. I would have liked to attend but circumstances make it impossible. I recall the problems we had finding somewhere to fly until Wilson came along & it seems he was a great supporter of the club since 1973. God Bless him.
