Petersfield Aero Modellers will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting for all members on Wednesday 4th October starting at 7pm. The venue will be The Hampshire Hog (some of you may know it by its previous name Hog’s Lodge). For those who don’t know it the address is: London Rd, Clanfield, Waterlooville PO8 0QD
The EGM is to discuss and adopt proposed new rules and risk assessments, Chairman Paul will be emailing all members full details shortly.
As well as the EGM business there will be a number of planes, kits, and a variety of other modelling goods up for grabs. Mark and I have collected it all from two ex-club members, John Bourne who is now too old to partake in modelling and has gone into a care home, and Chris Davies who sadly passed away at a young age about twenty years ago. Chris’s widow had decided it’s time to clear out his modelling goods.
If all that is not enough to ensure your attendance I will be running a raffle. This is not just any raffle, this is an M&S raffle a very special double prize raffle! Same price, just £1 for a strip of tickets, but with twice as many prizes as usual.
